This is your chance to become an adrenaline
junkie and join us for our second Zip Slide challenge in Carlisle
to raise funds for Eden Valley Hospice.
Zip Slides are one of the latest 'adrenaline sports'. Sliding down
a line suspended from a great height to the ground takes courage,
determination and a little madness.
Our Zip Slide will start at Stoneyholme Golf Club and take
participants over the River Eden and Hadrian's Wall landing about
1,000ft away in Rickerby Park (longer than last years slide)! – not for the faint hearted but
definitely a experience like no other!
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
No previous experience is necessary and our team of highly skilled
instructors will ensure you are equipped with all you need to make
your slide safe and as enjoyable as possible.
DROP DOWN WITH YOUR FRIENDS
You can either register as an intrepid individual or perhaps
you can rope in some friends to join you. So if you are in need of
some team spirit, get some colleagues at work, friends at your
local or your family to join you.
WHO CAN TAKE PART
Participants MUST be aged 16 years or over. Parental consent is
required for all persons aged 16 or 17 wishing to 'slide' and
weight between 6 and 18 stone. If you are heavier than 18 stone
you can contact us to discuss your participation. Similarly, any
participants under 6 stone should get in touch. We reserve
the right to decline an individual’s participation should their
build be deemed unsuitable for the activity.
