You can
join our lottery from as little as £1 a week and you can have as
many entries per week as you wish. You will be allocated a unique
five digit number per entry and these numbers will remain yours
for as long as you keep playing.
Every Friday the winners are selected randomly and prize
cheques are issued automatically, so there's no need to make a
claim but we do publish a list of the winning numbers in our
charity shops and on this website. |

How the Hospice
Lottery Works |

WHY JOIN OUR LOTTERY |
 When you
join the lottery you will be allocated a unique five digit number
for each entry you have. (You will keep this number for as long as
you play the lottery).Every Friday our Lottery computer
automatically randomly picks 75 lucky winners and issues them
their winning cheque. In addition to this the computer randomly
selects a five number sequence and then checks this with the
players taking part that week. If no one has this
sequence of numbers this prize
ROLLSOVER to the following week and so on until
won.
I f no one
has won the prize by the time the Rollover prize reaches £10,000
then the following week there is a guaranteed winner and
computer will randomly select a £10,000 winner from those playing
that week. |

By
supporting our lottery you are helping us care for adults and
children from Cumbria and South West Scotland with terminal /
life-limiting illnesses including cancer, and other conditions
such as motor neurone disease, muscular dystrophy, heart failure
and multiple sclerosis to name a few.
We strive to provide the highest standards of nursing and medical
care, to sustain quality of life and dignity and to provide
patients with relief from pain. To the families, friends and
carers of our patients we extend the same loving support, help and
counselling, as such illnesses affect whole families.
This year alone we need to find almost £2M of the £2.97M needed
and your support of our lottery will help us towards this goal.
Last year the lottery raised almost £5,000 a week for the
hospice. Please consider supporting the Lottery, we really need
your help to ensure we can provide the help and support our
patients and their families need when they need it.

the hospice is also responsible for any Raffles that we run or
manage.
Our main raffle each year is our Annual Grand Draw! This year
