Each year the hospice organises a House to House collection as a way people can support our work.

House 2 House collection details

we have a special license form the Local Authority which allows us to carry out this collection between 25 August and 6 September.

Where you can collect

Any Streets in Carlisle or Penrith Area, including, Brampton, Appleby, Tebay, Dalston, Scotby, Wetheral, Longtown, etc.

How to Collect

You can hand out the envelopes at any time during the collection dates but you must collect in your envelopes before the 6 September. You can call at any time but we have found calling around tea time best as most people are in then. Do not call after 8.00pm as this could disturb young children.

Gift Aid

This is a great way that a tax payer can add value to their donation at no extra cost themselves. But, they must complete the gift aid section of the envelope with their name, house number (or name) and postcode. The amount in the envelope also needs to be noted and the envelope returned to us.
